Y'all be sure to come and enjoy one of the state's largest festivals. Since 1977, Pike County, Kentucky has been celebrating Hillbilly Days. This internationally known annual event serves as a fundraiser to benefit the Shriners' Children's Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Held in downtown Pikeville, this is one festival you've got to see to believe!

3 live stages of free entertainment, featuring a wide variety of music genres, clogging and square dancing. Men, women and youngsters pick and grin while trying to outdo each other with their wild hillbilly outfits.

11 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. - Hillbilly Days Carnival - Located at the Downtown Pikeville Riverfill.
11 a.m. - 10 p.m. - Live Music  at Pike County Courthouse Stage - Daily - Live Music  at Pikeville City Park Stage
2 p.m. - Gov. Buckner and Hatfield-McCoy Presentation at Big Sandy Heritage Center
2 - 10 p.m. - Live Music  at Mtn Top Media Stage Appalachian Wireless Arena Mountain Top Media Stage, Main St.
6 p.m. - Hillbilly Degree Work: Men - Upike Gymnasium (Hillbilly Clan Headquarters).
6 p.m. - Annual Appalachian Beard And Mustache Contest - The Appalachian Center for the Arts. 218 2nd St. Contestants register at door; registration available all day before event.
7 p.m. - Hillbilly Degree Work: Women - Upike Gymnasium (Hillbilly Clan Headquarters).
7 p.m. - Micro Wrestling  at The Appalachian Wireless Arena
