The Mountain Mushroom Festival is a celebration of the Appalachian culture:  the morel mushroom, KY agate (state rock of Kentucky), arts and crafts, Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky River, and mountains.

Festival Schedule:

Pancake Breakfast, 7—11 am - Masonic Lodge, 221 Broadway

Fungus 5K/2K Run/Walk Registration: 7:30-8:45 am, 2K: 8:30 am, 5K: 9 am, awards: 10 am - Broadway and Estill Avenue

Twin City Kruzcrs Car Show, 9 am — 1 pm registration; awards 3 pm - Main Street and Mack Street

Agate, Gem Mineral, & Fossil Show, 9 am -6 pm - Central Office Gym, 253 Main Street
